The 60-Day Enamel Challenge

Your teeth lose mineral six times a day and get it back twice. The challenge is to close that gap for sixty days and see what changes.

What this is: a simple, fixed commitment. Sixty days. Two or three sprays after the times you eat — not instead of brushing, in the hours between. Sixty days is also exactly how long the money-back guarantee runs, so the challenge costs you nothing if nothing changes.

Here is the arithmetic that makes it worth doing.

Six windows a day. Two brushes.

Enamel is a mineral. Minerals dissolve in acid. Below a pH of about 5.5, enamel starts giving up mineral — that is not a marketing figure, it is the point where the chemistry tips.

Every time you eat or drink something, the mouth does the same thing. It does not have to be sweet; a sparkling water or a coffee will do it.

  1. Minutes 0–5. pH falls. Bacteria in plaque turn what you ate into acid within seconds.
  2. Minutes 5–20. Below 5.5. Mineral is leaving the enamel surface. Nothing hurts and nothing is visible.
  3. Minutes 20–40. Saliva buffers the acid back up and starts putting mineral back — if there is any mineral available to put back.

Breakfast, coffee, something mid-morning, lunch, an afternoon coffee, dinner. Six eating occasions is six acid windows a day — and you brush at the two moments furthest away from all of them.

That is the gap the challenge is built around. Not brushing badly. Brushing at the wrong time, twice, for something that happens six times.

The rules, in full

  1. Keep brushing. Twice a day, as you already do. Nothing here replaces a toothbrush — bristles remove plaque and nothing sprayed can do that.
  2. Add three seconds after eating. Two or three sprays, aimed at teeth and tongue, held for five seconds. No water, no sink, no spitting, nothing to rinse off.
  3. Do it for sixty days. Not thirty. Enamel exchange is slow and the reported changes land between weeks two and four.
  4. Do not change anything else. Same diet, same coffee, same toothpaste. If something changes, you want to know what caused it.

Why sixty days and not thirty

Because thirty is a marketing number and sixty is the guarantee. If nothing has changed by day sixty, the purchase price and the original shipping come back and you keep the bottle — sealed, opened or empty. There is nothing to send back.

That is the only reason to set the challenge at this length: it is the point where you are risking nothing and still have enough time to see something.

What is actually measured

Four numbers, and it is worth being precise about where each one comes from. The first was measured in a laboratory. The other three come from users over four weeks of ordinary use.

62% fewer of the main cavity-causing bacteria measured in the lab · within three minutes
84% reported less staining users · over four weeks
73% observed less tartar users · over four weeks
82% noticed visibly whiter teeth users · over four weeks

It has also been dermatologically tested — a patch test on twenty adults with sensitive skin, recorded as non-irritant and non-sensitising.

What that adds up to

  1. Mineral, not just cleaning. Hydroxyapatite is what enamel is made of. It is the one thing a rinse that only removes can never give back.
  2. Whiter without bleaching. The whitening is a smoother surface holding less stain, not peroxide stripping the outer layer.
  3. Breath that comes from the tongue, not from mint. Fewer of the bacteria producing sulphur compounds, and no alcohol drying the mouth out two hours later.
  4. Less tartar. Reported by nearly three in four over four weeks.
  5. Three seconds, anywhere. No water, no sink, no spitting, no rinsing — which is the only way anything can be used at the moment the acid window is actually open.
  6. Safe to swallow. Which is what makes the point above possible at all.

The enamel surface, magnified. What acid takes out is a mineral — and mineral is the one thing almost nothing on the shelf gives back.

What you are actually spraying

Two ingredients doing two different jobs.

Hydroxyapatite is the mineral enamel is made of. When enamel loses mineral, that is the mineral it loses — so the idea is not a substitute or a sealant, it is the same material offered back in a form small enough to settle onto the surface.

Xylitol works on the other half of the problem: the bacteria producing the acid in the first place. It resembles sugar closely enough that they take it up, and then they cannot metabolise it. They fill up on something that gives them nothing.

No fluoride. No alcohol. Safe to swallow — which is not a small detail, because it is the reason this can be used at a desk, in a car, or after lunch, at the exact moment the window is open.

It was developed by an implantologist for a specific reason: a toothbrush cannot go to lunch with you. It is not in the car after coffee, or at the desk after a fizzy drink, or in a bag at nine in the evening. Those are the hours when the mineral is leaving. So the format had to work without a sink. It is patent pending.

To be clear about what this is not This does not replace brushing, and nothing here suggests it should. It is not a treatment and it is not a substitute for seeing a dentist. It is for the hours between brushing — the six windows a toothbrush is never present for.

Join the challenge

The challenge runs sixty days, which is two bottles for most people and three for anyone who sprays after every occasion. That is why the set is what most people take — and because the whole idea rests on mineral arriving regularly rather than once, the people who get the most out of it are the ones who never run out.

If you are still not sure

Every order carries a 60-day money-back guarantee, counted from the day the order arrives. Keep the bottle — sealed, opened or empty, there is nothing to send back. Email with the order number and the purchase price and original shipping are refunded.

Sixty days is roughly three hundred and sixty acid windows. That is long enough to know.

What to look for by day sixty

Days 1–3
Nothing visible. What is happening is the acid window closing earlier after each occasion, which you cannot feel. The one thing most people do notice this early is that the mouth is not left dry the way an alcohol rinse leaves it.
Week 1
Breath, and specifically breath that lasts. It comes from fewer of the bacteria on the tongue producing sulphur compounds, rather than from a stronger mint sitting on top of them.
Weeks 2–4
The visible part, and the window in which the reported figures above were recorded: less staining, less tartar, visibly whiter teeth. The whitening is a smoother surface holding less stain, not peroxide stripping the outer layer.
Weeks 5–8
Nothing dramatic, and that is the point. The tooth is not a wound that heals once; it is an exchange that runs all day, every day. What matters by now is not one impressive week but never running out.
